Once you have heated a racing tyre correctly and put it on a car/bike, the next problem is to retain that temperature for as much of the race as is humanly possible – but many factors outside the control of the driver are fighting to reduce that heat! Such as:-

• During the formation lap, drivers have to swerve their cars around the course trying desperately to stop the heat in their tyres being pulled out of their wheels by the track and weather conditions.

• When the car is racing down the straight there is no flexing of the tyres and therefore they begin to cool before they enter into the corner.

• When the Safety Car is brought out, the drivers are suddenly in the same predicament as they were on the formation lap and once again they try to swerve their cars to vainly generate heat within the tyres.

• On top of the above situations, tyre temperatures have problems being retained in rain and very cold conditions.

Many major accidents are caused by cold tyres, where not only expensive cars are destroyed, but drivers are seriously injured and some fatally – Ayrton Senna being one according to the press – making the heating and the protection of that heat, of ultra importance to everyone concerned within global motorsport!

WE NOW HAVE THE ANSWER TO THIS PROBLEM

We LAUNCHED at the PRI Show with huge interest!

This patented concept is a unique and fabulous tool for the tyre management industry!

By using a specially designed High Frequency Electromagnetic Energy device, which we actually build into a racing car/bike, we are now able to put a HEAT SHIELD onto the surface of the tyre to stop the majority of the heat from escaping during a race!

Our “shield” will retain approximately 90% of the heat within a tyre when ever it is activated, which to any driver/rider is an unbelievable benefit to their safety and skills!

When they are on the formation lap, or behind a Safety Car, the driver simply presses a switch and the special energy is immediately directed at all four tyres.

During cold and wet weather the driver will switch to automatic control and then the concept will keep the tyres as warm as possible, subject to how extreme the conditions are!

Tyre Technology Ltd is therefore able to offer teams a total tyre heating package, which will keep them into the 21st Century plus offering tremendous flexibility, safety and race advantages. NB Both the above concepts are available on our special and inexpensive two year rental scheme – which covers all maintenance and servicing costs.
